About my design history:

📚 Where It All Began

I studied Graphics and Communication Design (with a focus on digital UX) at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Canada, where I graduated at the top of my class.

I was a very involved student:

• President of the Design Student Org (DSO), where I co-founded the now-annual student conference “Orange“
• VP Operations for Enactus MacEwan, winning 3rd runner up in Western Canada
• Participated and won 1st in a CASE competition
• Volunteered for the marketing club, finance club, and CASE club as a graphic designer
• Accompanied the business department to the 3 week European Innovation Academy in Portugal

🏅 Hard Work Pays Off

I was awarded with the President’s Medal for Academic Excellence and Student Leadership

✈️ Moving for Experiences

In 2016, I did a summer UX internship in Berlin – where I fell in love with the creative flow of the city. I permanently moved in 2017, which set in motion my career as a product designer.

I landed my first job at a startup called HUMANOO (who was recently aquired by Telus Health). In order to keep learning and growing, after 3.5 years at HUMANOO, I leaped over and joined a newer startup, Felmo. I led the mobile and customer experience team for 2 years before I was head-hunted for a lead position at BEAT1.

💗 Design, It’s More Than Just Work

I think my work speaks for itself – I am passionate about design (some would even call me a nerd). Over the last few years, I have gained an interest in product strategy and process, which has been a wonderful next step in my career.

Aside from product excellence, I enjoy motion graphics & animation (Adobe Premier Pro & lotti), illustration (Adobe Illustrator & Figma), prototyping (Figma), Research & Analytics (next step is to finally conquer SQL).

DIYs & turning my apartment into a maximalistic wonderland

Crochet – hats, sweaters, scarves, etc.

Digital Illustration (ipad & procreate)
